🌠  Introduction  !

☆    Hello there!!
I'm Emi, I use they/them by default and I host this world! Confused? That's because we are multiple. Actually, this intro is not about me, it's about everyone and everything inside Euphya!☆    Who are the others?
We call our residents the Euphyans, and I often happen to have my body controlled by them (instead of myself); in that case refer to their own profiles! If you want to talk to them individually, you may do so by joining us!☆    Boundaries
Generally we're okay with @mentions, tone tags / indicators, pretty much anything like that. Just watch for the individuals' own boundaries, if any, they may differ from usual. We don't have a "DNI", but you may see our guidelines to learn about our decentralised norms.☆    Projects!
- We created and maintain the Project 4 Plurals which is dedicated into finding all the tools you need as a plurality, while also offering volunteer support!

📔  Terminology  !

⋆    Most of our terms are completely different from the majority of plurals, which can bring confusion to those used to "system" terms. While you might be familiar with the these, they are not always appropriate to use; because we aren't a system. We exist as conscious entities in a whole other world.⋆    Please ensure you are not using an automated translator here.
English is the original language, and we provided a French translation of each term. Automated translations may be wrong.

⋆    We made this terminology in case of doubts, but you should have no problem getting used to it, as they're contextual words!⋆    Don't hesitate to ask us questions, especially if you are confused, so we can improve it for everyone!

⋆    Role Tags are mostly there to indicate who's most trustworthy when it's about this world's official resources and administrative management.

Any Tags are subject to change at anytime and for any reason. In the future, they may be new ones, changes in their name or definition or some that may be removed. Don't hesitate to come back to this list if you notice something unusual!

❓  FAQ  !

❖    Why "Euphya" as the name?    -    We chose Euphya as the world's name because its residents live with lots of euphoria! We then took this specific word as the representation of Euphyans' drive to live with maximum happiness and wellness for as long as life would permit it, as a collectivity that welcomes itself! ❖    Who are the Euphyans?    -    Euphyans are those who live inside Euphya, whether they were born or brought here. They are conscious entities, just like you!        Their norms differ from those that you'll ever see on Earth, not only because it's a different world, but also because reciprocal respect, common sense, actual empathy (including accessibility) and drive to be nice to yourself and others are not things that should be neglected, ever. Chaotic situations and "child play" can freely happen as long as things stay in a 100% good atmosphere - this is our own vision of free will. Whenever they need help and/or if something bad happens, they always know where to get appropriate help.¹        Euphyans come in all kinds of life forms, not just human-like! We have plushies and animals that don't exist on Earth! We kind of wish we had our own language too, but understanding each other is already a great point.        You can always view their public profiles on this section, even if they are not present at the moment. You'll learn way more about each of them by directly interacting and asking questions!¹ = Our community invites to a similar experience of this positive freedom, so we deeply hope that you'll consider it as your "safe space"! ❖    Where can we be contacted / added?    -    You may join us for any online interaction! We have better than "adding us as a friend", you'll be able to contact each Euphyans individually!We recently opened a fediverse account on Vivaldi Social, and we are also on Bluesky, though if you try to contact us from there, it may take a good while before we see anything, as we mainly rely on our place.
 ❖    What pronouns and terms to use?
    -    This works in a priority order, if one isn't available, use the next option:
    1.    They're explicitly specified in an Euphyan's profile;
    2.    Ask the Euphyan directly;
    3.    There's no way to know: in that case use our defaults on our pronouns.cc. ❖    "What is your gender?" / "How old are you?"
    -    Euphyans don't have any of these things. If needed you can ask for one's pronouns, terms and/or maturity range. ❖    "What do you mean there's no age?"
    -    Well, of course there's an age somewhere, but it's only for this world as a body on Earth. We won't tell more than the range (where it's legally required), but for Euphyans, this works in a completely different way. We each have two distinct values:
    1.    An entrance date, which is self explanatory: It's when an entity originally entered in this world and became an Euphyan. They are either brought or born there, and whichever that happens sets the date for their life.
    2.    An estimated maturity range: This is what you would want to look for when interacting with someone. Euphyans ask themselves, "How old would I be like if I had a human age?". They then estimate a number and put themselves in a range, that they will eventually tell you when interacting. There's no fixed growth, things happen (or they don't). This is really all there's to know, now obviously you'd likely prefer interacting with someone with a range similar to your age. Maturity ranges don't have fixed numbers and can change over time.
 ❖    Isn't this just being plural?    -    Yes that's correct! But heavily different from most plurals that you'll ever encounter. Even though we know some that also have this organisation, all plurals are different. Of course there aren't just "worlds", "systems", or anything else! ❖    How are general plural terms tolerated?    -    For most plurals, you may be able to use (some, if not all) general plural terms that usually are normalised and in glossaries. However, it's best you ask them directly, because all plurals are different. We're a great example about this, since we aren't referred as a system (with all terms that go along). You may be interested to read our terminology. ❖    Why do we ask to join a server?    -    If we beg you to join us (as long as you want to contact us), that's because the server allows Euphyans to communicate as themselves, rather than be forced to take the world as an identity. We made a custom secure PMs system there that relies on private threads!        The classic DMs system do not have a plural integration (such as PluralKit, Octocon, Tupperbox…), so we have them restricted to emergencies only. We don't mean to advertise nor have any similar intents. If you have an issue or a question about this place, please send a message anywhere you can and read what's currently available to read for you! ❖    What are those letters next to pronouns/terms on an Euphyan's name?    -    We have moved & redesigned the answer to a comprehensive board in its own Role Tags section!

☑️  Guidelines  !

Euphyans live in a different world. This means they have plenty of different norms, that they believe is the right mindset. Guidelines aren't "rules"; even we don't fully rely on them, and instead, act by individual cases. We call this behaviour the "100% reciprocal respect", and here are some of our guides of conduct that apply to anyone outside interacting with us:⋆    All interactions must fit in the age range of all participants AND any potential spectators.⋆    Any offense, drama, toxicity, discourse, ableism, discrimination, etc, won't be tolerated, and all of these are bannable cases for non-Euphyans. You must respect anyone's boundaries, whether you personally like them or not.⋆    Negativity can happen to be a thing, but don't make it your whole personality. You can vent as much as you need in the appropriate places. Outside there please moderate yourself on venting & ask for consent. Use the appropriate content warnings "CW" and use ||spoiler tags|| (which will result in a spoiler).⋆    If we don't fit in your "Do Not Interact" (if you have one), then whoever interacted first is responsible of anything that follows. There's also this interesting card that suggests transforming your DNI into a "Looking for" list.⋆    We are not disclosing any private individuals, the hosting body's exact age (range is probably fine), sex and gender, nor anyone's origins. We'll only say that Euphyans do not have sex/genders. They instead use pronouns/terms and they have different ways of splitting.⋆    Please refrain from using general system terms, and instead refer to our terminology.⋆    Debates, Concerns and Beliefs on Earth are not part of Euphya. This includes religion, stereotypes, discourses, generative "AI" slop, sex wars, and pretty much anything that would bring to political discussions. They can be mentioned in appropriate contexts, but any attempt to force any Euphyan to be or do something will result in you getting blocked/banned.
Side note 1: Emi and anyone else are not considered as anything religious, but Emi exists as the world's host. It's not a religion, it's a whole person in front of you who exists as any other human, and who hosts their own inner world that does not affect other entities on Earth.
Side note 2: You may not include anyone in this world from any kind of system discourse (as we are not a system). Do not try to fakeclaim any of us as being of a certain origin. Take this sentence as you please with maturity in mind.⋆    Avoid arguing out of anger, and know when to drop the topic. Yelling at others is useless and does harm than good. Everyone can have different opinions, but they all shouldn't conflict this way, nor be problematic in general. Debating may be done in appropriate conditions and may not harm anyone.⋆    Be as "cringe" as you'd like! Don't let anyone say otherwise. If freedom is now normalised as being called "cringe", then there's nothing wrong with it!… except for those who attempt to shame others.⋆    These guidelines (as for the rest of this site and our content) can be subject to change at any time and for any reason, without prior notice. If you're okay with these, then you'll be a good fit in our norms!

- We've repurposed our pronouns.cc by leaving only the defaults, as everything else is either asked or available in their profiles.
- Along with these additions, we've made an attempt to make editing and viewing more accessible.- Added favicon, updated preview and removed Carrd branding (we bought Pro for a project)!
- Added Projects to the Intro page! Check out things we've done and are actively doing for you all!
